Maile received her masters of occupational therapy and her undergraduate in communication studies both from Eastern Washington University. As a mother of three very busy children, she understands the challenges of raising kids. Maile has dedicated a good portion of her time and energy educating the community and other professionals on the benefits of occupational therapy for children. 


Maile specializes in educating the neurological systems of medically fragile infants and children, trauma, and feeding and swallowing disorders with reflex integration.


She was previously a professor at Spokane Falls Community College teaching the pediatric course to Occupational Therapy Assistants and continues to guest lecture at colleges and universities. She has a long standing history of delivering local and state conference presentations on the development of children and the role of the occupational therapy within the community.


Her future goals include becoming a core provider for the Masgutova Method, getting her Ph.D in Neuroscience and achieving her board certification in pediatrics.

Andrea King is an Occupational Therapist with a passion for Mental Health. She is happiest when learning or teaching people about ways to empower themselves and to maximize their healing and independence. She received a Masters Of Occupational Therapy in 2010 from Eastern Washington University, and has since worked primarily with children ages 1-15 and with adults across the lifespan. 


She has received professional training in BAVX, Handwriting Without Tears, Sensory Integration, Yoga, Meditation & Mindfulness, Trauma and the effect it has on Learning and The Brain, MNRI, and the Handel Method Life Coaching. When not working, she shares a love for nature, food and FUN with her family and friends.

Dani is an Occupational Therapist with a passion for people across the lifespan.  She received her masters of Occupational Therapy (2010) and her Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies both from Eastern Washington University. Her experience includes working with individuals with ages ranging from infant to 102 years old!  When not working she loves to spend her time with her husband and two step sons backpacking all over Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho, playing soccer, eating good food, going on walks and “trying” to garden.

Beth received her masters degree in occupational therapy from Eastern Washington University in 2011 and BA in history from George Fox University. Her experience includes working with the geriatric population, adults and also enjoys working in pediatrics. 


When not working, she enjoys spending time with family, quality time with her daughter, reading and gardening.

Daniela has been an employee of Empire since 2017. She graduated from Eastern Washington University’s Occupational Therapy program in 2019 with her Master's in Occupational Therapy.  


Her strong ability to connect with children on the autism spectrum allows her to stand out in the crowd. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with friends and family and practicing Yoga.

Kari graduated from Eastern Washington University's Master of Occupational Therapy program in 2011. Since then she has worked primarily in pediatrics, both in school-based and in private pediatric settings. Working with children is her passion! She values the importance of meeting a child where they are at and working together as a team with their family to assist a child in reaching their fullest potential. 


Outside of work, Kari enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. Some of her favorite past times include reading, developing her photography skills, and discovering new family favorite recipes.

With over 20 years of coaching and administration experience in working with athletes with Physical Disabilities, Teresa brings an unparalleled level of passion and expertise, and an expansive network to match.


ParaSport Spokane was Teresa’s brainchild when a distinct need for a sport program arose in Spokane in 2013. She has been a driving force behind many community outreach, awareness and education initiatives, and the rapid growth of this program is attributed to the network Teresa has and the energy she puts into doing what is needed to engage more athletes in the community. Also a National Team Coach for the US Paralympic Track and Field Team, Teresa’s reach is felt nationwide as she coordinates and implements a number of development clinics that awaken people with disabilities to their potential as athletes in Paralympic Sport. As a licensed Occupational Therapist, Teresa is the lead on our wheelchair assessment clinic.
